Why is this an expensive project?
I work with a web designer and graphic designer (Rees, whom I have to pay) and he has built this beauty.
This site has bucket loads of images (average about 60 a church, over 600 churches in Devon), two specialist search functions, maps, the large hosting (all those pictures) and software licenses, all this to increase your enjoyment.
Then there is the storage, the image processing, the ongoing maintenance; let alone the personal expenses, the fuel, the equipment maintenance, and so much more… So, please, any donations are gratefully received and long may you enjoy our fabulous churches.
PS… Payments are totally secure and private, carefully cared for by PayPal.
PPS… What you see here is only the beginning; over time I hope to cover near all the churches in Devon, and I already have a bank of photos ready to be sorted, written about and uploaded as well as articles in the pipeline.
I expect to upload at least three to four churches a month at a minimum, though that does rather depend on the vale of troubles the world is going through just now.

Monthly donation
You will need a PayPal account for a monthly donation.
If you do not have one, then you can do this easily as part of the payment process. If you prefer not to have a Paypal account, then you can make a one-off donation using just your credit or debit card. Please use the one-off donation below for this.
The steps…
- Click on the big donate button below.
- Jump through the totally necessary security hoops until you arrive at the Monthly Donation page.
- Important: Tick the ‘Make this a monthly donation’ box.
- Choose the amount (£5, £10 or £15 per month, or an amount of your choice).
- Press the donate button.
- You then arrive at the final page, where you press the Donate £xx GBP monthly button (GBP means Great Britain Pound).
Your security
If you want to cancel or change your monthly donation, then:
- You can do it through your PayPal account.
- Contact us, we can cancel it.

One-off donation
You do not need a PayPal account to make a one-off donation, you can use your credit/debit card. If you do have a PayPal account then you can login in and use that.

- Choose the amount (£15, £25 or £40 or an amount of your choice).
- Press the Donate button (if you are paying through your PayPal account) or the Donate with a card button if you just want to use a credit/debit card.
- Follow the instructions on the appropriate page.
